Advice if you know please
I got my decision , not enough points so I’m asking for a MR. In the letter I got one of the questions I never got points for mental
Health ( I did for physical issue just short of 2 points ) I was awarded 0 points as there wasn’t a diagnosis strong enough to award it. mental health distress . Am I wrong that pip is not based on any diagnosis You have BUT ! Or / Any meds you take. Obviously if you have side effects but pip is indeed based on how your life’s affected by whatever symptoms you have from an illness ? It stuck out to me considering everywhere I look it tells you pip is not about your diagnosis but how your life’s affected!

Hi @Dendoo sorry you've not had a response yet. Have you decided to go through the MR route, and if so how is it progressing?

Hi that’s ok Thank you . I’d forgot I’d posted lol . yes i
did do a MR . I should hear something back before April. I got a text a few weeks ago to let me know. I know less than 30
Per cent succeed asking for a MR . So I will just have to wait . I never requested the report as there was enough for me on the decision letter to ask them to look again plus I didn’t want to cause my self any anxiety or have it hanging over me. I’ve never done anything like this before but I’ve reached the stage where I should be getting help and I should have way back when I was too scared to apply . Just waiting game now and see where I go from here . Thank you for replying .
