Word Association Game
I think it's fun how some of our threads can go from topic to topic and end up somewhere completely different. If I write a word, the next poster writes the first word that comes into their heads- keeping it as clean as per any forum rules. So if I put dog, someone might say cat or walk. And so on....... First word is Cake

Please Would Someone Check This Is Right. Thank You
Have just had my second payment, after a huge mess up with my first (migrated from ESA). Last month I had to pay bedroom tax, as they hadn't checked with my landlord that I need an extra bedroom for my carer - so I paid that extra out of my money. This month, they are paying my landlord full rent but have taken the bedroom…

LCWRA/Talking Therapies
Good afternoon, I have a query about making a claim for the LCWRA of UC and Talking Therapies treatment. Firstly, I have a stutter which has been described as significant by medical professionals and I already claim PIP where I gained 8 points for this. I also do not like engaging/mixing with other people. Largely because…

Savings and Universal Credit - When to let them know?
Hello, If my savings are below 6000 and I'm dipping in and out of my savings every now and again, do I need to let DWP know? Or is this only if it's above 6000? Similarly, I presume I don't need to report every time I dip in above 6000? I guess just be mindful of if it goes over each 250 i.e. 6250 then 6500 etc, to make…

deprivation of capital
Hi everyone again, I've just wondering about this. With this rule what does it mean? Basically can you spend what you want on anything if you are under £6000 or is it like if you are over £6000 and spend or send someone like £2000 just to get you back below the capital limit for example. Anyone got a clue what it means?

Name an animal using the last letter of the previous post
Since the other thread about food and drink is doing so well, here is another one! All you have to do is name an animal which starts with the last letter of the previous post. For example: * Person 1- Cat (ends with T) * Person 2- Tortoise (ends with E) * Person 3- Elephant (ends with T) I'll start. Dog!

The five letter game
So here's a new fun game for you all to try out. I've picked five letters. The next person has to make a sentence using just the five letters. Like this... T C B G F Next person replies with something like "This Could Be Great Fun" Then they leave another five letters. Got it? The first five letters are... W Y I M K

Tell us some boring news.
There's intrigue in the mundane and so today we're asking you to share: what is something boring you've done lately? Emptied the kitchen bin? Run out of teabags? Bought a clothes airer? Cleaned the oven? Tell us. I'll go: I walked to the shop to post a parcel, but I'd accidentally deleted the digital label they needed to…

A-Z of Pies ...
Depending if you like pies here’s an A-Z Game of PIES. And a few interesting facts…….. Edited - a bit more history of the pie. When I was much younger, I always thought pies originated in Lancashire 🙄. But pies were around as far back as in Ancient Egypt (called galletes), quite flat and made from barley, wheat or oats…
