ESA - WCA
Hi! Just wondering how long it normally takes to receive a response from ESA (NS) after sending back the WCA questionnaire. I know it says up to 13 weeks online. However I am not sure if this from when you have had an assessment or if this is from when you send off the form? If its from after you've had an assessment, how…

New Style ESA recipients - Proposed Changes
I can see from various threads those of us on this benefit, and not on UC are left adrift as no-one anywhere appears to be considering, far less attempting to clarify, the situation we face. Given we are vastly outnumbered/drowned out on the main threads discussing the proposed changes, would it be useful for us to band…

Is everyone who is on CB ESA (old style) migrating to NS? I read that this is only for those who are claiming IR and CB ESA who are migrating to UC and NS ESA. I only receive old style CB ESA (support group), will I be moved to NS ESA?

Surely this is a cheat..changing WCA to PIP
So as I understand it the previous attempt by the government to change LCWRA descriptors was deemed illegal because sure enough it was in fact only an attempt to save money and not to help or access people too sick to work…so the recent government announcement to merge the WCA criteria with PIP( and non work related…

Hello, My husband has been claiming new style ESA since December 23 but we have our own business which I am continuing to work in. He has dividends of £4000 from the previous tax year when he was working. Will this affect the ESA?

Hi, I am due to move under managed migration from ESA to UC imminently. My ESA is a combination of Income Based and Contribution Based. Is LCWRA the same as New Style ESA
I have completed my migration and now in the waiting period. The other day I got a letter saying my ESA has ended. Will I automatically now go into LCWRA or New Style ESA or just UC. I thought I had done it all right but now I am having doubts. Thanks in advance.

Hello there, I know UC has one but does ESA? If you don’t get into either Support Group or WRAG I presume you won’t get ESA? Thanks.

Why am I on contribution based ESA?
Hi. I've never worked and am unlikely to ever be able to work, so I don't understand why I'm on contribution based ESA. I was on income related ESA and contribution based ESA (receiving a P60 every year and a £10 Christmas bonus), before I complete the migration process to UC. I receive UC monthly and CB ESA every 2 weeks.…
