Inaccessible Disabled Parking Bay
My local council has placed a huge wheelie bin over one of only a few disabled bays, in our local car park, making it useless to the disabled. I cannot believe that anyone could be so callous, as to make a decision to do so. What can be done? Why are we so disrespected I wonder.

Hi, I'm trying to understand the practical difference between the social and medical model.
Hi community, I'm an abled person (not sure if that's the right term to use?) trying to be moral, and in the course of my investigations into social issues of equality, I came across the "social model of disability." From what I have read, the social model says that disability is caused by the social environment rather…

Anyone with May Election voting issues specially concerning accessing out to even post a vote?
Dear community. Once again It looks likely I will be excluded from voting. Which is a shame I have followed with keen interest our local councils meetings. Our Mayor has rather shown excellent leadership. His business back ground and raising millions for charities he founded. Has helped keep my town from going into…

Hi All, Apologies if I am in the wrong area, but was wondering if anyone else has faced the same issue as I have. What is thew price of dignity?
Over the last few years we have seen many changes to access to help. I won't call it benefits since the access to benefits should come from the need to access help from the NHS. This can be many ways from assessments that go on to diagnose the need for prescription drugs to operations that would help like cancer or heart…
