I just found out I have Spina Bifida Oculta. No particular hardships in life except for I have always found it hard to organise myself. Not just that I am bad at it but that it makes me dizzy, panicked, confused. Much how people describe dyslexia makes one feel. Could be a confirmation bias but would be interested to know…

Planning on buying a Power Wheelchair, but it can only go over 2.5cm kerb. Is that enough?
I am planning to buy an electric wheelchair. The one that seems to be the best for me (and seperates to go into the boot of a car) only has the ability to go over a kerb of 2.5cm (1"). This seems to be the least of all the chairs. I was wondering if this is enough? Do most places have dropped kerbs? Any advice would be…

Disabled Housing and costs of relocation.
My wife and I live in a disabled Bungalow and we are hoping to move. We do receive some housing benefit and I have an occupational pension. We are both into our early 60's. Moving isn't an option, nor is there any downstairs storage or charging options. I can't imagine being able to haul it up the steep and narrow staircase. Any options?
