PIP Mandatory Reconsideration
I'll start by saying that, a few years ago, I was awarded an indefinite DLA award of lower rate mobility and middle rate care. I currently live in supported accommodation with support workers coming in twice a week (contracted for 6 hours per week), and the house I live in is owned by a supported housing association and…

So PIP have asked for a statement of reasons after tribunal win
Bit of a confusing one - so after I won my PIP tribunal back in may, DWP requested a statement of reasons to try to appeal this. Today I had a call from them asking for my bank details and if I would be happy with a lump payment. I am confused as neither of us (me or the DWP) have even received the statement of reasons…

Mandatory Reconsideration Success
Appeal or Not? My mandatory reconsideration was successful. I was one point away from receiving the highest amount of daily living (got awarded highest amount for mobility which was zero previously). Is it worth appealing?

Pip Tribunal
i have heard from the tribunal that DWP have now responded to my appeal although over the 28 days. I have been told that DWP will write to me separately with their comments and I can then respond to the tribunal with evidence. As yet I have heard nothing from DWP and the tribunal has emailed me a reminder to provide…

PiP Help

Delayed decisions
Apparently, the government have decided to wait until spring 2025 before announcing changes to PIP. The White paper will concentrate on UC and job centre reforms. Talk about kicked into the long grass. The I has a long article about it.

PIP capita assessor has blatantly lied and twisted information!
Hi All, I am sorry for the rant but need your help and advice. I received a text from DWP to say they had my report within 24 hours of assessment. I felt the capita assessor fixated on certain things and missed out on a lot of important things so requested a copy of the report. I have received a copy of it today and she…
