Journal messages from UC!!
Has anyone else started receiving these messages from Job Centre that are on LCWRA. Would you like to have a chat about how I can help you? We can talk about how I can support you. And we can identify things you can do to help you take the next steps – but only when you’re ready to. For example, we can talk about: -…

uc review help feeling anxious
So I had my phone call and sent in evidence, and now they wanted to book another phone call. I said I was busy, but he said it would be only a 7-10 minute phone call. Does this mean they want more? Or is it protocol that they do another call this short time before closing it? I'm just anxious; I never did a review with UC…

Hi I was asked to submit my bank statements to UC in February which I did. I then had a telephone call review of my claim appointment today and they read through a script of standard questions but nothing about my bank statements. They said everything ok and sent me a journal message of what was discussed and answers. Will…

Joint to Single Claim Carers Element
Hi everyone, Currently on a joint claim (Basic, LCWRA for me, Carers for partner) but I genuinely think my marriage is over. No housing element as house is mortgaged, no children. If I go to a single claim I believe my LCWRA is protected, but quite honestly I would rely on the £209 carers element to be able to afford…

Hi everyone, apologies for not being here for ages, and a brief fly-by now as I'm down with a bug. But came across a new document published by the gov this morning and thought you'd all want to know. It's about their Pathways to Work program. From what I understand everyone on LCW and LCWRA will be contacted next week…

Not sure about UC standard increase and transitional protection
I am on LCWRA, migrated from ESA support group. Since the April rates have gone up - my rent increased and my transitional protection decreased by the same amount. I understand that this is right. That's a separate thing to this post. But what I'm confused about is the standard UC rates. I thought my standard rate would go…

Can I claim carers element of UC…

Help, backdated housing costs refused by UC
Hello, can someone please verify if the job centre is correct by saying that I am not entitled to backdated payment for housing costs. I lost a month's rent because they are saying that when I made a change of circumstances I didn't provide enough evidence. ( It was just change of landlord's name). It took them weeks to…
