Hi everyone , been a while ..... I just received this and am very worried ..... Surely DWP don't text you through what's app , especially a business account that's only been opened for a month ?

Hi,
I can confirm 100% this is a scam, the number they want you to phone is linked to a BT landline in Seer Green, Buckinghamshire. Nothing to do with DWP.
I also doubt DWP would ever use whats app from a mobile number and have T-Mobile/EE as their mobile network and use the mobile as a pay as you go and not contract.
Just ignore the text or report the text as spam/scam to DWP.
