Universal Credit and Work Coach ethics
I was left in tears and mental overload today after my new workcoach was rude, unfriendly and told me to go out and find a job. I am a man diagnosed with autism and have frequent 'mental overloads' in crowded places and recluse, unable to process conversations. I tried to tell her my problems but I couldnt speak as I was…

I currently get uc with lcrwa and pip for my physical and mental health. My best friend ( we live together ) cares for me an awful lot, little did we realise how much she actually does for me and it would be seen as being a carer although when we moved in together in july last year we never thought of adding carers element…

Can UC pay my landlord direct? Landlord is a housing association
I believe that Housing benefit will cease to exist once on UC. The rent will be aid to you as part of your payment. Is there anyway of changing this, continue to pay the landlord direct? The landlord is a housing association.

New fit note (til October) reported 19/6/25 and accepted 24/6/25 UC50 was submitted 1/7/25 and LCWRA decision confirmed on…

Messages on UC Journal
Hi, I’ve started receiving messages on UC journal about invites to talk to someone about work and whether I’d be interested in looking at opportunities. They say the conversation won’t affect my LCWRA or PIP but I’m worried there is a trap in there. Has anyone else been receiving these messages on their journal?
