ESA, Permitted Work, and self-employment!
Hi all! After many years on ESA, and now PIP, I am now at the stage where I would like to start doing some kind of work. I would love to do pet sitting, as I feel that would allow me to combine my love of animals along with helping my communications skills and it would help keep me active. I know there's a need for it…

Finding a job when you have MH conditions & FND/NEAD
Hello, I've posted quite a bit about losing my job and I ultimately think that's going to happen. But when I'm better I'm worried my lifelong anxiety will get in the way of me ever working again. I know the job centre have said there's schemes such as IPES, Remploy etc. But what other schemes can help do CV's, Interviews,…

PIP & Cost of Living
Morning - just got off the phone to DWP re: PIP and Mandatory Reconsideration. Advisor told me that son should be eligible for Government's 'Cost of Living Support Package'. I didn't really know anything about it and she told me it should be £650 - two payments of £326 in July and £324 in the Autumn. However, I've looked…

I really hope that this is lack of education so I want to do something about it.…

DDA Greivance - Denied A/L specifically due to "employee's autism, and requiring routine"
Hello to all I've just signed up and joined as what appears to be a fairly awful event has just occurred to my son. He works in a local government leisure centre, which is run by a private company on behalf of the local council. Due to Covid, he has accumulated a great deal of A/L, which he has been informed he is required…
