PIP decision not matching my evidence
Hello, I recently got awarded PIP for 3.5 years. I got the highest rate for both components, but I was surprised by how they scored the mobility part. I put on my form that I can walk 20-50 meters and sent a letter from my GP saying no more than 50 meters that I used for a bus pass application. However, I think that letter…

PIP Review Decision
Hello Everyone, DWP sent a text to let me know they've made a decision about my PIP (paper review) and I will receive it within a fortnight. I'm really panicking. What's odd is that I usually have to do a telephone assessment and haven't this time. Is this a bad sign? My claim is mainly for mental health plus a physical…

End of 2023- PIP award ended April 2024- Finally received review paperwork and submitted it July 2025- Had phone assessment The result was that I have gone down from enhanced daily living to standard daily living but they gave me a cryptic reason about how my own evidence had lead to this decision so very confused by it…

PIP - Is my review after October 2025 or 2026? Do I have to fill in a form again?
Hello, I was awarded Pip up until October 2026. My letter says "we will contact you while getting PIP to see if your needs change. This will be after October 2025" So is my review after October 2025 or 2026? When they contact me after October 2025, will I have to fill a form again? Thank you, Sunshine

PIP REVIEWS
When a review is due and an award is granted do you lose a year of PIP . I mean my next review is 2027 a year before the award ends, and my award was due to end in March 2026 , so I lost that year . so if I am awarded PIP again for 3 years does year 2028 get taken away ? If this is the case are we really awarded 3 years…

review form different to original form
I've just finished my husband's PIP review form. I chose to type the answers, and I know the drill for attaching/labelling with nino and name. I didn't realise the review form itself is completely different for the basic questions with tick boxes, the original form was much simpler. I've already answered the questions in…

PIP renewals
Is it common practice for PIP not to have medical reviews for renewals and extend an award for a year rather than just renewing same? My son is autistic and is really stressed as renewal due in June and after 8 months after the renewal application went in he hasn't heard anything. We keep ringing but he cannot cope when we…

THANK YOUR MPS WHO FOUGHT FOR YOU
So often we contact MPs when something goes wrong, but there were a lot of MPs who have fought to defend disabled people’s benefits. If your MP was one of them, imagine how uplifting it would be for them to receive and email or letter with a simple Thank You. It takes courage to stand up and vote against a bill in your own…
