Pip review completed no assessment

Hi all,
Little advice please.
My partners review was sent off in December 24. Due to end July 2025!
received text jan 13/01/25 they received forms.
7/4/25 text stating they still have form and will review asap. Also received txt from assessment people saying they was dealing with claim.
30/6/25 same text as above received from dwp
7/7/25 received letter stating they extending award as pip review isn’t completed yet.
Today 31st July 25 received text message stating review is completed and letter will come in next 2 weeks.
Really confused and my partner is really anxious as he hasn’t had an assessment this time or anything.
Thanks in advance for any advise or guidance.

Not sure of yout partners circumstances so can only tell you that my last review took 10 months! From forms being sent out to being awarded the same as I was on already. But I did have a phone interview. So I would say, cautiously, this is good news. If no interview, and reward continued, then suggests to me medical documents and past reviews were enough. Its so stressful I know, but made more so that disabled people are at the mercy of these absolute clueless "assessors". Hope all goes well as im sure it will. If it doesn't please contact CAB or such like as they have been excellent helping me in the past with benefits.

I have been reviewed recently, and they never gave me an assessment. The past two reviews I had assessments, but not this one; it just means they have enough information without an assessment to make a decision. I got awarded my review that was extended for 3 years. So maybe not being sent for an assessment is good news.

@Charjay1989 You have sent in enough information/evidence for them to progress a paper based assessment. This can happen. You are being sent the decision letter.

Thank you for sharing your experience, glad you got a good outcome.
This is my partners first review since getting award pip.
So was really expecting another 2 hour assessment like when first claimed.

Hi. Your partner has had an assessment: a paper based assessment. You must have supplied adequate evidence. It bodes well. Please let us know the outcome.

Hi Zipz
Thank you for your comment.
Hoping it won’t take to long to receive the letter, someone said to me to check when his next payment is and see if anything has changed by calling the pip line.
His just received his pip 2 days before the text saying they have completed his review so not sure this will be helpful as pip is payed in arrears as far as I’m aware.0
