My PIP review process will take at least two years

End of 2023- PIP award ended
April 2024- Finally received review paperwork and submitted it
July 2025- Had phone assessment
The result was that I have gone down from enhanced daily living to standard daily living but they gave me a cryptic reason about how my own evidence had lead to this decision so very confused by it all. I've just applied for a mandatory reconsideration and was told to expect a wait of 15 weeks.
So that will be around two years from when my award ended which just seems too long. The whole process is ridiculously drawn out and I will probably need to go to a tribunal after all of this anyway. Can anyone else relate?

That does seem like a very long time @PotionsQueen especially if they reduced your award, I'm so sorry! The longest wait for me was 18 months, which wasn't fun.

Thanks, sounds like you had a long wait as well, is just frustrating as I will not be able to continue renting if it stays at this amount or gets any lower. Hoping I'll get good news but not sure that is likely!

Well I'm keeping everything crossed for you @PotionsQueen the wait is so frustrating, but it's worth it in the end!
