Please help - SDP, ESA and moving to UC
Will adding sap to my esa claim trigger an early move to up?
I have just rang esa and added sup to my claim. I was told that I would be contacted in a few days.
now I am really worried
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Do you mean SDP, rather than sup? If so then no this will not prompt a move to UC.

thank you.
im just scared as I’ve gotta change in January and am in esa support group and don’t wanna lose my lcrwa0 -
Support Group/LCWRA will not be affected. Have you received your migration letter? If so what date do you have to claim UC by?

yes. I’ve gotta migrate by the beginning of February 25

If SDP is awarded then I’d advise you to claim UC as late as possible. Don’t worry, your LCWRA will not be affected and you’ll be entitled to that from the start of your UC claim.
