UC are trying to work out your bedroom entitlement for Housing Element.
In certain circumstances a second bedroom can be paid for via benefits and not be the tenants responsibility to pay for.

With private accommodation, the local LHA rate is used to work out UC Housing Element.
An extra bedroom can be included under certain circumstances.
