Message from PIP
I today received the message below my PiP is up for renewal in April I sent these forms in November and received this today
Do I need to concern myself and will this be processed in time for renewal
We still have your PIP form and will be progressing your review as soon as we can. You may still need an assessment with a health professional. Your PIP will continue to be paid until we review your claim. You only need to contact us if your circumstances change.

It's a standard message.

HI @Astro0, as Kimi mentions, this is just a standard message. Your PIP will stay the same until they assess you, so nothing will change for now. Hopefully you'll hear more from them soon ☺️

I know what you mean @Astro0! It's a nerve-wracking process and every text can bring new anxieties about what's happening. Hope it's all out of the way soon.

Should I send in my Medical record of medication and diagnosis as proof from my GP or will they look at this themselves

I would send a copy of those @Astro0, just so you have peace of mind that definitely they would have seen it😊

My pip renewal was sent in November 25 it expires on 23 April 2026 ..has anyone experienced the year extension due to back log or is this just media talk
Do I call to ask what happens if I don’t hear anything by April
thanks you0 -
You can call if you'd like some reassurance @Astro0, but as it says in the message they sent, your award should continue as normal until they manage to review your claim. Hopefully you're not waiting too much longer ☺️
