Hi, my name is aharman64! Partner scammed me, what do I do for my UC review?

Bank statements..I have been asked to show universal credit 4 months bank statement I cash in my personal pension due to being with a partner who scammed me under my mental health.i don't want to be prosecuted or sanctioned what can I do or say?

    You need to be honest with them about what's happened.

    If it takes/took your capital over £6k, then worst case scenario is you'll have an overpayment to repay and a small fine (£50).

    Over £16k is more complicated as that would have ended your award.

    It is best to do a change of circumstance a.s.a.p.


    Then they will inform you if it changes your payment entitlement etc..

    The best thing to do is to report it is a change of circumstance and just let them know what has happened.
