Premier League Sweepstake 2026/27

The Premier League is back in August, which means it's time for another football sweepstake!

Whether you're a lifelong football fan, only watch the big matches, or couldn't tell a corner kick from a corner shop, everyone is welcome to join in.

How it works:

Reply below if you'd like to take part.
Once sign-ups close, we'll randomly allocate each participant a Premier League team. These will be allocated on the week commencing 17th August 2026 ahead of the Premier League's start date on 21st August 2026.
Your team is yours for the season. No swaps, no transfers, no manager sackings!
The competition runs from August 2026 until the end of the Premier League season in May 2027.

You don't need to follow football to join in. Sometimes the best teams don't win, and sometimes the biggest surprises come from the clubs nobody expects much from.

What do you win?

Bragging rights and community badges, including:

Top of the Table: Awarded to the member whose team finishes highest in the final Premier League table.

Against the Odds: Awarded to the member whose team exceeds pre-season expectations by the greatest amount.

That Didn't Go To Plan: Awarded to members whose team finished furthest below pre-season expectations.

Down We Go: Awarded to the members whose teams were relegated at the end of the season.

Match Day Regular: Awarded by random draw from participants who join in with at least one sweepstake discussion during the season.

Team Spirit: Awarded to members who regularly join in with sweepstake/football discussions and encouragement throughout the season.

Stuck With Them: Awarded to everyone who takes part from August through to May, regardless of results.

Rollercoaster Season: Awarded to members whose team had a season full of ups and downs.

Up for the Cup: Awarded to members whose team made it to the final of a cup competition.

We'll post occasional updates throughout the season so you can see who's flying high, who's having a nightmare, and whose team has somehow become everyone's favourite underdog.

Race Within The Race 2026/27

As well as our main sweepstake, we're running a second competition alongside it: Race Within The Race.

This one is designed to make sure every club has something to play for, not just the teams chasing the Premier League title.

How it works:

If you're in the main sweepstake, you're automatically entered into this competition too.
Your allocated club will be placed into a mini-league with similar teams.
You'll keep the same club for both competitions.
No extra sign-up is needed.

We'll announce the mini-leagues once teams have been allocated.

The groups will look something like:

Title Race: Teams expected to challenge for the league title.

European Race: Teams hoping to qualify for European competitions.

Mid-Table Race: Teams aiming for a strong finish in the middle of the table.

Survival Race: Teams expected to be fighting to stay in the Premier League.

You don't need your team to win the league to be successful. You only need to finish higher than the other teams in your mini-league.

What do you win?

More bragging rights and community badges, including:

Title Challenger: Awarded to the highest-finishing team in the Title Race mini-league.

European Dream: Awarded to the highest-finishing team in the European Race mini-league.

Best of the Rest: Awarded to the highest-finishing team in the Mid-Table Race mini-league.

Great Escape: Awarded to the highest-finishing team in the Survival Race mini-league.

Maybe Next Year: Awarded to members whose teams finished second in their mini-league.

Race Within The Race means there are more chances to win, more reasons to support your allocated team, and more opportunities for a bit of friendly rivalry throughout the season.

And remember, once your team is allocated, that's your team until May. Choose your celebrations and complaints wisely!
