    I've tried a couple of the Pataks curry sauces Oddball - they are nice

    I too use Pataks, very nice and rich compared to other brands. I don’t bother when they’re not on sale though as they’re double the price :D

    Lamb and spinache curry.
    I don't use any of the jar sauces, I do mine from scratch. It does make it easier tho to use a jar

    @Sandy_123 I would like to try making a curry from scratch always thought it waste buying all the spices tho as I'm the only one that eats curry

    I know what your saying @janer1967 i'm lucky hubby likes spicie foods, i love the sound of your curry @Sandy_123 spinach makes for a lovely creamy curry.

    Having a little play today - trying chorizo crumb cod with new potatoes and stir fry veg.

    Did someone say Curry? They are easy to do, and it's better to get a ready made curry PASTE, rather than a sauce, because they tend to have a lot of oil and surge r in, but the Pastes don't.

    Its alot of cooking without pastes and sauces @Siwheels73 blending and marinating 
    The good thing @janer1967 once you buy all the spices they last a long time and make loads of dishes

    Yeah I get that @Sandy_123 but they would last me years 

    Also don't like cooking that much on oven top it isn't easy from wheelchair and when I can't see very well god knows what spices and measurements I would put in lol

    Yeah easier to use a jar, some do curry's in slow cooker, not  tryed that yet myself.

    mmm some lovely sounding meals talked about yesterday - my fish experiment was rubbish neither of us liked it ha ha - luckily could scrape the topping of so we didn't waste the fish. Think we will have the steak pie with cabbage tonight x

    My children would like a buffet tea and me I haven't ate today as of yet been to a big meeting today so think it's Chinese for me later
