I've been awarded LCWRA. Am I entitled to extra money?

Hi.
I have received notification in my Journal, that I have been awarded Limited Capability for work and work related activity. I am pleased to find out this.
The only thing am unsure and slightly confused is if there be additional money added to my Universal Credit Award, also I have read on direct gov/universal credit, that:
"If you made a new claim for Universal Credit on 3rd April 2017, and have limited capacity for work, you will not get the extra amount"
When the Job coach advised myself to apply for the work capabilities at end of March/beginning of April, she mentioned there is extra money if I did qualify.
This is where I am confused, as if there be extra money or not. Could someone please help advise?!? As am still new to universal credit.

Hi @Sheree_8. As you qualify for LWCRA, then you’ll receive an added payment. It should say this on your Universal Credit journal when they notified you of the outcome.
-
Sorry, should have added, the LWA doesn’t give extra money. Think they did before the date you mentioned though. -
With LCWRA you will get extra money but only from the fourth payment after you reported your health condition.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

@Leigh14 Thank you. Ah OK I understand. The letter was quite vague regarding money. It just mentioned if any monies owed to you then there be a notification within next 7 days on Journal.Sheree

@calcotti Thank you. I reported health conditions and disability in December and fit/sick note from 21.12.20. When I first applied for UCSheree

If claim start date is 21st December LCWRA a payable from April payment by my reckoning.
The ‘relevant period’ is the three periods from Dec-Jan, Jan-Feb and Feb-March. So LCWRA included for March to April payable on 27th April.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -

@Ross_Scope Morning. Yes I did find very helpful. I still new to UC so finding a bit of a mine field at best of times and the Gov website don't always help.Sheree
