Yes extremely painful, although your discussion is about disabled/ accessible toilets in a certain hotel chain no names mentioned the disabled toilet door didn't just need my door card to enter it also needed to 2 down turns of the handle just to gain access isn't being disabled difficult already without a added turn for us chair users I wonder whether the other toilet door needed to turns of the handle to open the door I pray for these designers0

Sometimes things do seem to be needlessly complex, I agree! And it's not always clear what you need to do either.
It's not like there's an instruction booklet: "How to be a wheelchair user" given out with every chair0
