Can I claim PIP?

Hi,
I’ve been suffering from scoliosis since I was 12, I’m now 31 with a baby and and my pain gone worse after pregnancy. In UK I have only been to chiropractor for it so GP don’t have any records I think. And I’ve also suffered from depression/panic attack & anxiety previously and my depression and anxiety is back now and I’m on antidepressants.
both these conditions also effect my work as well as daily activities but I’m not sure if it would be enough to get awarded PIP.
Helps pleaseee

Have you looked at the PIP descriptors, to see if you might get enough points for an award?
If you decide to apply I would recommend getting assistance filling in the forms.

Hi @Cecilia0923, if you're in pain and struggling it is well worth getting in touch with your GP to see if they can help you feel more comfortable. They may also be able to refer you on for specialist treatment if you need it.
With PIP it can be quite a personal decision as it will depend how you are affected by your conditions day to day and whether you'd score points on the activities they look at. If you take a look at the links that Kimmy posted above, that would be a good start 😊
