Applying for council tax reduction
I have filled in majority of the online application form. The only bit I'm struggling is the amount of UC I get.. the amount I receive each month varies. This is because I work for an education agency and although I work full time...if I'm ill or they have training days I don't get paid. (Plus it is term time only 38 weeks) . So wages can vary and so does the amount of UC I receive. If I put the full award down (which I rarely get) they will assume I get that everymonth which more than likely take me over the threshold for help.
TThank-you

You should contact them and ask what you need to do, each local authority has different rules, but what mine does is have income bands which allow for a fluctuating UC income.
