I just want to say as well carrying on from my last post .

Rachel Reeves wants to get everyone back into work ,How is this going to pan out with people who have Mental health problems , Depression anxiety PTSD ADHD ASD . Scitsophrenia Bipolar disorder etc.

Will employers really want to take on people with these conditions knowing that they could ring in sick on there bad days , and having to adjust the work place what ever it may be .some employers do this I know ,but I think the majority of employers won't want to take the risk ,

As I said in my last post my adult son has schizophrenia. He's on medication so at the moment stable but still has bad days .

I would love him to be able to get a job and achieve something .

But I really don't think he could work in a working environment .

Also what chance would he even have at even getting an interview,if he states to the employer that he's got schizophrenia on medication and as good days and bad .

Thats also why theses proposals are so wrong , they are just going to put people into poverty.

I totally understand your concerns @rita444 Getting people with mental health issues into work would probably be lovely for the people out of work, but the government don't seem to have thought it all through properly. There needs to be jobs for us to go into first, then there needs to be employers willing to put resonable adjustments in place for us too.

There's lots of us talking about it here if you wanted to join in?
