Ever since all these benefits announced I am in absolute terror and robot mode same as I'm sure a few are I feel a cloud over me and I do work I work 3 days a week but to do more would absolutely kill me due to my condition and they already alter my duties, I cannot see how they can expect us to live without pip

I can see alot of suicides and crys for help once this is introduced and if I'm right it's going to happen, is there really still a chance they will fight it and it may not happen personally I cannot see this and we are left in a position that is unbareable and inhumane

    Hi I know it seems really hard right now and I know exactly what you mean by robot mode , when I was younger I was suicidal but at the time I didn't realise that not everything turns out the way you think it's going to do in your head maybe the cuts won't happen or maybe some cuts will happen but it won't be as bad as you thought, it will get watered down or maybe something else will happen that we haven't thought of yet , don't give up yet ❤️❤️

    I feel the same. I am retired and so the Government can’t use the lame excuse that they will ‘ help’ me to find work. It’s terrible that they are aiming these cuts at vulnerable working age people like yourself. The fact that they are aiming them at all disabled people, no matter what their age, shows it’s a ruse to cut costs. That’s all. No mention of other ‘cuts’ they could make, and there’s plenty even I can think of. But I try not to worry. It’s not law yet and there are lots of organisations, even their own MPs who are outraged by them. I hope that there will be a fight back to at least modify them. Forewarned is forearmed, as they say. At least we know what we are fighting now. I just so hope that poverty is not around the corner for us and we are not forgotten. We mustn’t let that happen! But sometimes I think that at my age now and with my health problems, I’m just so TIRED of fighting in a country that doesn’t care at all about us.

    I feel very same I’m petrified contribution based ESA & PIP it’s my only source of income I cannot work now although I have done all my life Iuntil few years before lockdown I am 60 I don’t get any other benefits my husband is pensioner so if taken off me I will have no income I suffer mental health problems and also physical ones mobility bad and I have to have my daughter help constantly

    In past I’ve been suicidal and tried taking my own life this has me panicking and similar thoughts ☹️

    I have moments when they first announced all this !!! I went on a major low but seeing mps activists unions public uproar someone kindly shared they emailed human rights commission about cuts and they responded they might investigate also seen article saying there would be legal grounds to take to court over freezing pip and discrimination to people with mental health have amazing young activists joining each other ellen clifford john mcdonnell Jeremy corbin doing interviews alot of people not happy so I feel a bit better knowing people will and are fighting hard. I also after person on here emailed human rights commission I also emailed them and I've emailed my mp 11 times there's a consultation for green paper you could say how you feel on that no names given you could email your mps and tell them your not happy about cuts the more people who do this the better ps excuse my writing
