Finally submitted my migration form

Finally done it today. I found the form pretty easy to do. The only issue I had was the online ID. I clicked on Passport and Credit References. They asked me 5 questions like have I ever had a personal loan, hire purchase agreement, credit card and something about my phone contract. I noticed they now use TransUnion for credit references.

What annoyed me was I answered all the questions right apart from the credit card one. It only give me 4 options to click when was the last time I had a credit card (I’ve never had one in my entire life) only a debit card. There was no option to say I’ve never had one. So I now have to wait for a phone call in the next 2-3 days to verify my ID. Anyone know if what type of questions they will ask me on the phone and how will I know when they phone me so I can be prepared?

    Hello @SM9346.

    They would usually book an appointment time to arrange an ID phone call. They will likely ask you questions such as your name, age and date of birth.

    Please let us know when you hear from them, it would be good to know if they do book you an appointment or if they've moved to a new way of doing things.

    I’m hoping the call does happen as I really don’t want to into the job centre. ID I have has my passport, bank card and phone contract bill. I’m not comfortable with job centre staff looking at a possible bank statement if they ask for it for proof of address etc or even my transactions. Nothing to hide but I don’t want them looking through my transaction if I have to submit ID at the job centre.

    I was given an appointment to verify ID on person.

    That's the same message I've had on my account for three years.

    As I advised you earlier an appointment with a date & time will be given for a biographical id check via phone, if one is possible.

    I don't remember it was a long time ago. If you ask me what I had to eat yesterday I'd struggle 😂
