DLA child payment date

hi all. I received a call on Monday 10th March to inform me that my child has been awarded DLA. Back payment was received on Thursday 13th March. Can anyone tell me when the next payment day will be please? I’m confused as this Monday will be 4 weeks since I was told the award had been successful, but does that mean I can expect the payment to be in my bank this week? Thank you x

Have you not had a letter with all the information on about payment and dates?

yes but it doesn’t specify when the payment date will be x

The PIP letters confirm award, backpay, and payment start date for monthly payment. It is a lot of information on one letter.
I'm not experienced with DLA so perhaps it's different.
You could always call them tomorrow and ask.

I can’t work out if that means it gets paid this coming week or next

That refers to the annual benefit increase, which this year starts 7 April.
Still doesn't solve when you get the first monthly payment.

that was the only bit of information regarding payments on the award letter x

Hi @bear1234
The letter you have is the annual uprating letter. If you were paid on 13th March you should get another payment four weeks after which would bring you to 9th/10th
I’m saying 9th because it was a Wednesday the award start date, but as you received back payment on a Thursday I included 10th
Going forwards it’s every 4th week on the same day of the week and next month will include the weekly increase

Also, this piece of information was on my award letter. It’s the letter stating that my child is entitled and the reasons why. Maybe the annual uprise was added on to the award letter because when the decision was made it was close the annual uprise
