Hi, my name is boobella! Where can I get help buying an adjustable bed?

need help please I am disabled with C.O.P.D on 20 hours + oxygen in 24 hours with a sleep apnea machine attached to my oxygen throughout the night I have white but I slip down I have back rest special pillows wedges but still I slip I should sleep upright so my best option is to get a double adjustable bed . Where is the best place to apply for either a grant towards an adjustable bed for disabled people
I also have angina arthritis plus all the aches and pains that go with these I also have a slow growing brain tumour which I’ve had for over 6 years I am 74 years young
The reason being I now need a new adjustable bed is apart from above is that my double bed as collapsed
I cannot get the draws open that have my bedding storage because the just does not align correctly
I would really need an adjustable bed that has storage for my bedding plus a massaging mattress etc
I need to get either help or a grant (or even free ) towards an adjustable double bed for my needs I really would like if possible a bed that looks like a normal double bed
Not a hospital bed I spent enough time in hospital beds
Can anyone put me in the right direction please 🙏

You can ask for an Occupational Therapy assessment via your local council adult services.
They can recommend what's best suited and advise on any funding etc available.
Or you can try these links:

Hi @boobella, welcome to the community. As Kimi87 said, you may want to speak to your local social services to see if they can help you with your bed:
Home adaptations - Social care and support guide - NHS
If you're on benefits and weren't able to get a grant or help from your council or social services, you may be able to use a budgeting loan to cover the expense of your bed:
Budgeting Loans: How they work - GOV.UK
Hope you can find something suitable soon 😊
