I have an undiagnosed tremor (although my GP thinks it's Benign Essential Tremor). It worsens the more I move. But when I'm relaxed it feels more like fluttering, with the occasional jerking. Any advice? Or anyone else who is going through this, how did you cope? Also, my partner of 31 years has lung cancer and is fighting as hard as possible to get to remission, so we've both had a really **** two years. 🤯

Hi @AN972, that does sound like a difficult couple of years, I hope you're both doing as well as possible in the circumstances! I'm afraid I don't have experience of this myself, but I just wanted to pop in to say hello and welcome you to the community.

I hope some of our members with experience of tremors will be along soon to share their advice and tips 😊

My son was diagnosed with benign essential tremor when he was about 13 i think and put on propranolol.

Unfortunately, he had to come off propranolol about a year later. I'm not sure if he just got used to it; i will ask him. He is 29yrs old now but i don't see him too often so i'm not sure how he manages with it.

Has propranolol been suggested for you? I think it did help him initially.
