The left side of my neck started aching Thursday evening, which was er…pain in the neck! It's even more so now, Friday I had a weird feeling on my scalp going down under my chin, a tingling odd feel. Yesterday, I realised it could well be shingles & yup, it is that. On my scalp, now on my ear & I'm hoping it won't track down to where the odd sensation went.

I had Zoster sine herpete a couple of months over 5 years ago & that left me with postherpetic neuralgia that I still have, at least that is around ribs on the right.

So a trip to the GP tomorrow, for antivirals as I take everything else that's normally given. I think they're so thinly spread that they haven't gone above my neck! 😆 Although this 😫 should be the emoji!

I've always said, I'm having a good day, if I haven't got a headache, as everywhere else hurts, well…. 🤯

Thank goodness I have pupster for a hug!

    Hi Jessiej,

Sorry to hear that you are suffering from shingles, it really is a very painful and miserable condition to have. I hope that you are able to access the anti viral medication that hopefully be of benefit soon for you. Hopefully this episode will not last long and you will be over the worst of it soon. Take care.

Oh no @JessieJ that's rubbish news! I remember my brush with shingles, it went in a band around my chest, including over some very sensitive bits, so it wasnt fun at all. I hope you the meds do their thing asap.
