lWC and commitments
Hi there I have been on LWC since around 2021 I do not get extra payment as my claim was after 2017 my original LWC was based on an injury from work then arthritis in my neck but my health has got alot worse since my original assessment. I get pip standard .
I have various health issues including cervical spondylosis,chiari malformation , csf leak , spontaneous intercranial hypotension , and a few other things . My husband is my carer . I got a call today from my work coach who also said I don't need to look for work on the phone has added to my new commitments that I'll spend 35 hours a week preparing for work.
This concerns me as I am unable to work and the thought terrifies me right now with all my health issues going on .none of them will get better which I explained to her on the phone so my circumstances aren't going to change unless by miracle .
Do I have to accept this commitment? She has also sent me a work health adjustment passport which I have looked at and has worried me even more . I have so many worries right now with health issues I really can't deal with this too .can anyone advise.

Sorry I'm not sure what a health adjustment passport is.
As you are in the LCW group you are expected to engage with a work coach and undertake work preparation activities.
You can't be forced to apply for jobs.
If you feel you can't agree to the commitment, go back to the WC and ask for something more reasonable you can agree with.

Good Afternoon I attended a WCA last week and received my decision this morning where I was informed that I had been "awarded" LCW I am currently waiting on a manual consideration (by tomorrow) but I am wondering what the next steps would be after that? I am currently awaiting an appointment to see a spinal surgeon and the pain clinic due to having 2 bulging discs in my back I would love to go back to work but there is no chance whatsoever at this time due to the pain and weakness in my back and legs (the discs are impinging on the nerves in my back) any advice would be gladly received thank you0 -
From what I have found the health adjustment passport is a new thing to help disabled people back into work .
I have put a note on my journal in regards to the commitments.i just don't want to sign something Im not able to do

The next step would be an independent appeal tribunal hearing.
I'd strongly advise not going it alone but seeking help and support via local welfare rights
