Taking adult son on holiday, is there an allowance of some sort?

Hi, can anyone help with some advice about taking our adult son on holiday and whether there is an allowance of some sort? Our son is in full time adult 1:1 (plus night) care and he would like to go on holiday somewhere warm, by the sea. Does the council have an allowance we can apply for? He would need 2 of us so we could do tag, as he is quite challenging. Any help would be great - he does not have a social worker at the moment, as his last one left Bristol Council and they haven't assigned him another (this was 1 1/2 years ago…), so nobody here to ask.

You would have to ask your local council about a grant.
You could also search the Turn2us grant finder:
Otherwise, is a holiday something you could save up for over time? It might not be practical to take him abroad and fly etc, so a UK seaside holiday in the summer (booked at short notice based on the weather) could be the best option.
