Won my PIP Tribunal, but I'm confused on the dates.

Hi everyone.
I won my PIP tribunal the other day and it states on the outcome that the claim is backdated to 14/12/2023.
This was a change of circumstances review which I requested on 07/07/2023.
My Question is this:
Should my claim be backdated to 07/07/23, when I notified the DWP of a change in circumstances, or should it stay backdated to 14/12/2023 when the DWP made their decision following the reassessment?
Any advice here would be greatly appreciated

Hi @CrC2025 sorry you've not had a response yet. I've not experienced this myself, but from looking at other people's situations I believe the PIP awards are backdated to the start of your PIP award decision. I've added a link to a similar post where one of our members advised about this as it may be a helpful read - Will they backdate my PIP after tribunal win? — Scope | Online Community
