Uc reviews

sorry to bring this up again as I did see you had discussions the other day . I’ve be asked for the usual 4mth bank statements and id . I’m so so worried I will loose my benefits. I have diabetes type 1 ( from 2yrs old) I have osteoporosis which is progressively getting worse, I can’t walk far or stand etc plus other medical conditions . My daughter kindly helps me out financially as I’ve had to live off credit cards which has escalated. If they see her payments going in regularly. Will I be penalised. Leading to sleepless nights ..

Won't be a problem as long as your balance is always under 6k. Your daughter is allowed to help you out.

From everything I've read on various forums including posts written by professionals on the know gifts from relatives, even regularly scheduled ones are considered gifts and so they don't care. As long as you are under the 6k limit you have nothing to worry about as anisty says

I have been on UC since June 2023 and had no review . I didn't think they reviewed it .

Where've you been all year?!!
In October, 2024, Rachel Reeves et all instigated their huge benefit crackdown on fraud. They took on an additional 4000 staff, took over offices in Swindon and quickly trained these new recruits to get cracking!!
And - oh my goodness have they been busy - 6000 staff they have now working full time going through UC claims.
Hence all the posts on Scope re bank statements. They will get through everyone in time and, at this rate, it will soon be your turn!
