Awarded no points for dressing which I need daily help

First claimed for pip Jan 2023 finally had appeal hearing March 2025 2 years and 2 months later far too long. I got awarded standard daily living rate but no mobility this will be back dated but I have had to pay someone for over 2 years to help me. The assessment was just lies asked me if I could walk to next door neighbour I said yes as I live in semi detached so only up path. The assessment came through and said I admitted to walking to the end of my street total lie.my advice is tell them you are recording the call and record it.
Awarded no points for dressing which I need daily help with yet got points for help getting undressed and dried when using shower. Again record your assessment.

Hi and a very warm welcome to the community.
Sorry to hear about your assessment.
So many of us had this happen.
You can challenge it by doing a mandatory reconsideration

Hi @Kev2025, welcome to the community. Sorry to hear you've had a hard time with PIP, that's so frustrating. Was this at a tribunal hearing? You may still be able to challenge it if you're not happy with the result. There are some pages on the Scope website that you might find useful:

Yes I won my appeal but it should never have got that far and took that amount of time. It was all down to the lies the assessor put as answers to my telephone assessment. I don't think these people are properly trained and I tread to think of how many claimant's have just not bothered to question these. As I have said before record these calls.
