Hi, my name is katherine62!

hello everyone, hope everyone’s doing ok?
I’m going to ask for some clarification please.
I’ve just received a text from DWP. A guy rang earlier to say he was about to reconsider my request for a mandatory reconsideration, which had been refused with a zero score across the board.
As I understood it, at that stage it would go back to HMCTS and the wait for a tribunal date would be given eventually.
I understood it was rare for them to reconsider anything after that point. HMCTS gave them until the 8th of April to respond but they only called today.
However, the text seems very clear, that I had been reassessed and that I should now wait for my tribunal date, so a no really.
I’m just confused why it just wasn’t left to go to tribunal automatically as the response time had been allowed to lapse.
Hope that makes sense, thank you

Hi @katherine62 sorry to read of your result. I just wanted to check, is your query that it's delayed it going to tribunal because the deadline was missed? Sorry if I've misunderstood.
