A New Addition To My Family.

This is Sam my eight week old kitten.

I recently lost my little dog Toby who was 15 years old and was not coping very well.

My husband came back with this little bundle of fur on Sunday afternoon to try and help me.

Sam is very sweet and is helping me adjust.

    @Bluebell21 That is a lovely piccie! He will be such a good companion for you. He won't replace Toby, but he is not meant to! I have attached a pic of my kitten, also called Sam and a black & white moggy. I bought him for my partner on the very last day that livestock could be sold in pet shops. Unfortunately he was run over when he was 9 months old, but in those 9 months he gave us a lot of fun. Best wishes, Steve.

    Hello @Bluebell21 I didn't replace Sam, no. I wasn't well enough. So I no longer have any animals/pets except for the usual creepy crawlies who seem hell bent on coming into my flat!

    I think you have a good friend in Sam. I know he will bring joy. I see he has already made himself quite comfy on a chair. My Sam's fave place for a kip was on the seat of my mobility scooter.

    @luvpink Yes, he was a lovely kitten - but then, they all are!

    I treat and have aways treated my cat like a dog he stays on the floor alot and does a kinda huff woof at people at the window I'm sure he thinks he is a dog!!! Yours looks very cute enjoy ❤️

    How do you get a dog to stay on the floor? Gus is on top of me as I type! He'll be in for a rude awakening when/if we get a summer this year.

    Thank you. I have had cats before great company and do not need to be walked. Sam is great fun and very active in short spurts then needs a sleep.

    So cute 🥰 Black and white cats are the best💜

    We lost our old black cat Jan 24 and got 2 new tabby kittens last Summer (from cat protection; no black ones available)

    We did wonder how they'd settle with the dogs but they don't seem to be too stressed at all
