New pip law 2016
has anyone had a letter recently, to be told you maybe effected by the new law change, now they don’t think you are affected. So I’ve asked for a reconsideration.

They first look for anyone collectively who might be effected, and notify them.
They then look at each individual case in detail, where some will qualify and some won't.
Did they tell you the specific change, and you disagree that you've been excluded?
Similar happened with ESA transfers 5/6 years ago. They stuffed up big time not assessing people for a financial top up. They sent a notification letter to everyone that transferred, a form to fill out followed, they then showed me how my award was correct the first time (which I agreed with).

They told me over the phone I was affected by new pip law 2016, when the letter came it then said not effected. I’ve then sent evidence to say from 2016 I had ptsd mental health. I was awarded standard daily enhanced mobility but now I have both enhanced as I also have MS

my appeal was adjourned as too much evidence to go through for a short notice. They have said mood disorder is accepted would I get a back payment
