ESA benefit

in Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)

I normally get paid ESA on a Monday evening would this mean I get paid the day after Easter on a Tuesday or before on the 17th?

    Whenever my payment date has fallen on a bank holiday Monday, it is in my bank the Friday before that.

    ohhh thats great news! Thank you for responding. I just noticed the Friday is a Good Friday so prob hit our accounts late Thursday evening. :)

    I didn’t get ESA yesterday evening ,normally my bank puts it through on Monday evening even though officially my pay day is Tuesday. Why is this? Will phone ESA first thing on Tuesday.

    That's really unusual, and I've no idea why they haven't done what they usually do. I double checked and today is definitely a bank holiday, but apparently Easter Monday isn't a bank holiday in Scotland?? News to me, and I've lived here all my life!

    I hope you can manage until Tuesday x
