Hi, my name is Raizel.

I just hit the big 4-0 last month. I’m a fan of video games—especially city builders like Cities: Skylines and any good point-and-click adventure. I share my home with my father, my brother, a lovable pug, and two noisy budgies I absolutely adore.

I was born with a deformity on the left side of my body—my left arm is shorter by a couple of inches and I’m missing a thumb. Since 1995, I’ve also been hard of hearing, which has made social situations a bit challenging and sometimes isolating. Growing up, it was tough to connect when you can barely hear the conversation, but I’ve learned to find comfort and joy in my family, my pets, and my favorite games
