IIm not really leaving a comment about my experiences at a face_to _face assessment just 1 little snippet, when I went to my 1st assessment the assessor was more like the GESTAPO, didn't treat me very well & at the end of the assessment she even commented on my letter that " SHE MANAGED TO PICK HER HANDBAG UP OFF THE FLOOR"! I hadn't got a bad back, that's not why I was being assessed. Needless to say I wasn't successful! The whole assessment itself is STRESSFULL WHEN I GET HOME FROM THESE ASSESSMENTS I FEEL DRAINED, UPSET,&CRYING. When the conservatives were in & came up with this stupid idea of targeting the PIP & other benefits they opened a right can of worms! Then when Labour got in they jumped on the band waggon thinking it's already been talked about so we'll carry it on.All any of them do is "MOVE MONEY AROUND" IT'S NOT THEIR MONEY! THE DISABLED REALLY NEED TO BE STUCK UP FOR, WHAT THEY'RE DOING IS WRONG! I READ SOMEWHERE THAT WERE AS BAD OFF (IF NOT WORSE) AS WE WERE IN THE WAR. AT THE MOMENT NO ONE IS BEING LOOKED AFTER LIKE THEY SHOULD BE.

The WHOLE PIP ASSESSMENT IS SCARY & NERVE RACKING! SINCE THE NEWS BROKE ABOUT PIP POINTS BEING CHANGED I'VE BEEN IN A RIGHT STATE! MOODY, IRATE, SHORT TEMPERED ,TEARFUL, WONDERING WHEN IT WILL ALL END, I EVEN WENT TO MY DOCTORS TO DISCUSS HOW I WAS FEELING & TOLD HER EVEN MY HAIR WAS FALLING OUT WHICH SHE SAID WAS A SIGN OF STRESS. MY FIRST ASSESSMENT WAS AWFUL, AT THE END THE ASSESSOR WROTE "SHE WAS ABLE TO PICK HER HANDBAG UP OFF THE FLOOR" I WAS ACTUALLY SITTING DOWN WHEN I DID THIS. SINCE THERE ARE EITHER NO OR VERY LITTLE FRAUD CASES INVOLVED WITH PIP, WHY CAN'T THE GOVERNMENT LEAVE US ALONE? WE ARE NOT HERE TO BE STRIPPED REPEATEDLY OF OUR PIP PAYMENT LIFELINE/SAFETY NET. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD FIND OTHER WAYS TO RAISE CASH!
