PIP Review due…

Hello, ive had a text to say im going to receive my PiP Review forms soon. I got awarded PIP in January 2024, after a stressful period of worry applying for it. It was such a relief when i got awarded higher award from mobility and lower award for daily living. And now ive got the worry of this review.
With everything in the media recently with changes the government have in mind for disabled people, this review is filling me with dread. Can anyone advise? And explain what i have to expect? Is there a chance i could loose it? My condition is still the same- if anything its slightly worse
thank you

no changes have been made yet. Providing you still meet the criteria your award shouldn’t change. Reviews are still taking quite a few months from submitting review paperwork. Mine took 8 months. I had a paper based review. If the decision maker decides there is enough evidence then this may happens with you, else you will have another assessment. Try to ignore the media as most stories are just scaremongering and making stressful lives even more so. Good luck with your review.

Hey @Janemet Sorry to hear it's that time already. As Mr Flintstone has said above, no changes have been made yet. It'll just be a normal review, which can take up to a year to get done, so please try not to panic. Also when the forms arrive, please do not just write "no change" treat the forms like a new application.
