Time to chill.
Do not let the discussion of the changes we are now seeing, or might be seeing stop you from enjoying a break.
So with this in mind and thankful to someone who reminded me to relax I decided to write this:
Have we lost Easter? A memory from the past.
It's Easter time again, the kids are off school
It's now up to the grandparents to find something for them to do.
It's only the first day, and I wonder how
that teacher gets through the day with 40 rabbiting mouths.
Do they know whose day we celebrate
Do they know he keeps us safe?
Do they know where we get our laws
Do they know it's over 2000 years ago?
It's not about the Easter Eggs
but what they represent.
its the rebirth of humanity
that he gave his life for yours.
So when you're out on Sunday
spare a thought for god
Who gave his only son
So you could stay with yours.
It does not matter whose god you like
Since people blame religion for all this strife
But it's us humans, and our free will
that forces the ideas they have, which leads to a fight.
What happened to arbitration, to end what has now begun,
or is it more sinister, and we want what we see and are willing to fight?
They call it trade wars, or many other names.
I just call it greed and how to make a fast buck.
So spare a thought for what it represents and buy that big Easter Egg,
Because when they are 40 that memory is still in their head.
And when they buy their kids the Easter Egg, the one that they always like.
Eee, when I was young, they were twice the size and only half that price.
So get your thinking caps on and write a little poem, or a memory of how you spent Easter. Our lot would jump in the car and just head off anywhere just walk or swim at the beach, followed by a barbie (no Ken was not there) (he was next door in the garden having his, (my next door neighbour))

A time for reflection, not just that Spring's in the air,
For history's past we should still have a care
Whatever ails us, it's not all in vain
We're here to learn lessons & understand Jesus' painHe fought for all people as he loved all mankind,
So we should fight for others needing help that we find.
It doesn't matter a person's colour, nor even their creed
We should be here for each other & anyone in need.I wish you all a Happy Easter or Spring holiday
Hope the weather's kind & you enjoy it come what may.
May you find peace in whatever you choose to do
And perhaps find time to remember what Jesus did for you.3 -
So good to hear from you today! It sounds like you’ve had a really productive day, you put me to shame, I’ve done absolutely nothing! Take some time to relax with the F1 and get that well-earned rest! 😊

Your message brought back memories of when I was a child, and Easter was all about its deeper meaning, faith, reflection, and the story of hope and sacrifice, and of course, the fun part, the community coming together for the Easter bonnet parade.
In today’s busy world, we often forget to pause and reflect on these deeper moments, so your words are a beautiful reminder.
Happy Easter to you and all our members.
