Worrying over nothing ?
Hi many years ago when I started my claim and I started recieving incapacity benefit
( 2009 ) I only had one account it was a joint one with my mum , it's the same account that my ESA still goes into today ..... We were asked for an account to send my money too .... we can't remember , but we suspect that when giving the details of the account to them we would of only given my name on the account to them and not my mum's as well , as it was my claim , like I say it has always had my name on the account , so it is mine , it's just my mum opened it when I was ten as to put money into it , never actually did but that was the reason it was joint .... Never had any savings in it and has only been used for my ESA to go in and swap money into my debit card account .... That would be ok wouldn't it ? .... I think I may be worrying about nothing .... Could someone please give opinion please

Hi @Danny123, it sounds like this should be fine. It looks like it's quite clear that your name is on the account and you have a good explanation about how the account works if they ask, so I can't see there being any issues ☺️
