Do housing benefit write to you after claim uc

Are they meant to contact u by letter the housing benefit to say it has ended as I was on esa and hb before changed to uc

    Hi @krj991, I'm afraid I'm not too sure whether they send a letter out or not, but I hope one of our members who's been through it recently can help you with an answer. Have your housing costs come through on your UC okay so far or is it still quite early on?

    Yes housing costs confirmed for uc

    Housing Benefit is done through your local council, so it will be different in each area.

    In my area, I did get a letter from them, but it was several weeks after the migration had been completed.
