Love love all things A Capella at the mo. New favourite group from the USA is VoicePlay, fab group of very humble, friendly and mega talented men, usually have guest features as they are currently down a member, he was asked to join the USA Navy to sing in their band. Three of the members have been together since middle school, they are now in their 40's but still amazing the sounds that come out of their mouths π― My new favourites are ''Hunt the sky'' their first original in 20 years and ''Until I found you'' they usually do phenomenal covers, although they have been approached by labels over the years they prefer being Indie. Financial support comes from Patreon on YouTube, I was so obsessed I became a Patron to them last year. They do incorporate a very small amount of instrumentation in some songs but this is allowed and is still considered A Capella. They cover any Genre you can imagine πI am obsessed and discovering them has really helped my mental health issues.

@Wheeled_Weapon can I just say you have excellent taste in tunes. π
Todays offering has mostly been the new singles from Tallahs upcoming album. It's not for everyone as it's very shouty and has some odd time signatures. And of course some NiN as I didn't get to go to the gig and all my friends have made me very jealous. π

Anyone using a double bass is ok in my books @Wheeled_Weapon π

Not my favourite, although I like it, T'Pau - China in Your Hand. It must have been on the radio a few days ago & since, it's been an earworm & I've been singing & humming it non stop. The pup hates it! π€£

Oh dont worry @JessieJ for some reason I had "Especially for you" by Kylie and Jason stuck in my head this morning. I of course had to serenade the dogs at breakfast. I don't think they enjoyed it. π€£

And that just shows how much you love your fuzzy friend @Wheeled_Weapon π
Our guys have a special breakfast/dinner song, which we HAVE to sing, or one of the dogs wont eat.
But anyway, today, I have been mostly listening to⦠Living Colour (todays Tiny Desk Concert on youtube)1 -
An excellent choice! I may have to hunt that one down after work. Tiny Desk Concert is such an amazing channel for discovering new music.
I highly recommend the Idles set to anyone who likes their music a bit rough and ready, but with some humour. π

I love Doja Cat @pburns1337 so I think you've just got very good taste in musicπ

Chappel Roan β¦ Red Wine SuperNova. Great tune and clever lyrics β¦ my wife is fed up of it (although I hear her singing along β¦ subconsciously brainwashed β¦ )
Melanie Martinez is on repeat too, dark and meaningful
I've never got Alice in Chains β¦ but then I don't rate The Beatles, Rolling Stones β¦ all different personal tastes eh
