Documents for UC Claim
Hello,
I would like to ask if I need to take ID documents to the Job Centre for any reason like unable to ID online, will they accept printed documents I print myself? Such as Council Tax bill for proof of address as I get all my bills electronically now. No paper bills. Plus banks charge for sending paper bills to you on request. I wondered if anybody else has had to do this and could advise me Thank You in advance.

Hi @Silver925 did the job centre give you detail of the ID they want you to bring? A printed copy should be fine as long as it includes the information they've asked for.

I haven't made a claim as of yet. I am just trying to get organised with every possible occurance. My anxiety gets the better of me sometimes. I have just printed a couple of bills at the local Library. It's just most things are sent now electronically and it takes a while for firms to send paper copies. It is just more simpler to download and print.
