Hi, my name is juleslou! Will I need a new ill health retirement assessment?

I was awarded the top tier for ill health retirement from the Civil Service May 24. Due to issues I made accepting my offer and poor health, I resubmitted my acceptance Feb 25. When I hadn’t heard anything by the end of April I called and was advised my offer has expired and to ask my employer to resubmit the request.
I had no idea this would be the case. Does anyone have any knowledge of the process or do I indeed have to be reassessed.
Kind Regards
Julie

Hi there @juleslou and welcome to the community.
I'd be guessing you may need a new assessment if the last one was a year ago. I'm not 100% on ill health retirement though I'm afraid. I'm hoping another of our super smart community will be able to give you a definite answer.
