Finding work

Hi, my name is Katie.

I have had work experience within the NHS as an administrator on the Staff Bank. However, as the NHS are cutting down on Bank staff, I felt it was time to look for more permanent work. I managed to find a permanent job, however, with my experience, they were unable to provide many learning opportunities that would have allowed me to progress. I am confident that I could progress in an admin role, as I was able to get a lot of shifts in one department, where I started off with small jobs and overtime, I was given a lot more responsibility. I have epilepsy, which is usually well controlled. When I was working on the NHS staff bank, it was well controlled, but with my last job, I was under so much stress that I was put on a PRN medication last August which then was changed to a regular Medication in March. Is there anyone who has experienced this sort of thing with work?

    Hi Holly,

Thank you for your response. I've been in contact with Support to Work in the past. I then discovered Work Live Leicester who helped me find the training allowed me to get into Admin work - I will contact Support to Work to see how they can help. Thanks again.
