New Style ESA, receiving state pension in November

Hi, I have applied for the new style esa in April, I received the capability to work form to complete, this is the first time I've claimed sick & i get my state pension in November, does anyone know if it will take a while to be processed?

It can take a few months, the completed form goes to the health assessment agency, it all depends on how busy they are as to how long you will be waiting for an assessment appointment.
Occasionally paper based assessments occur, this is when minimal or even no further input from the claimant is required, but they are rare.

Thank you, for your reply, I am new to this & don't really know what to expect & was kinda thinking they may leave me alone do to my age.
